After church on March 30 we will be spring cleaning the inside of our building. There will be projects for all skill and age levels. We will provide lunch (the best part) at 12:30. Please sign up using the following link. Any questions, please reach out to Scott Carson (PropertyTeam@htelc.com).
We hope to complete the following projects
- Spring cleaning the sanctuary and gathering areas. This will involve moving chairs in the sanctuary to sweep and getting after some of the high up places where the cobwebs like to hide
- Washing windows
- Repairing the edges on the round tables
- Cleaning the basement and looking at items in the basement that can be removed, recycled or relocated.
- General outside clean up: picking up branches, replace snow plow divots
- Weekly Work: Each week a group of people are meeting to maintain the building. The kitchen is cleaned, windows washed, plants watered and the baptismal font cleaned and refilled. In the past month repairs have been made to tiles, linoleum counters, and light fixtures. The lawnmowers have been serviced and returned ready for spring-now we need to figure out how to keep the critters out of the shed.
Speaking of critters, we have asked Orkin to add some additional traps throughout the building as we have seen increased evidence of mice in the building. Please keep any and all food in sealed containers.
There continues to be the sorting out and consolidation of items in the three storage rooms and basement. This work will help everyone know where items are kept.
