Iringa Lutheran is our partner church in Tanzania. Pastor Livingston Mzungu—who we pray for every Sunday—heads the congregation. Pastor’s wife, Saporah, is a practicing midwife. Their son Bethany just turned three years old. During his time so far in Iringa Pastor Msungu has enlarged the girls’ sewing school and hired a professional teacher. He also opened a carpentry school for boys and a children’s library.
