We Seek God’s Direction for our Church

• Covid Protocol Review – no change

• Transition Team Update –Reviewed by Paul, see meetings below • Call committee / MSP writers – finalize, plan to convene

o MSP Team: Dot Kasik, Linda Edwards, Mark Beliveau, Jo Whiting

o Call Committee: Erlinde Beliveau, Bobbie Sebow, Stephanie Goupil, Julie Moore, Dick Topping, Dave Smith, Tina Maiorino

o Plan to share these committee names to congregation in the Tidings this week.

o Call committee will be reached out to, to set up meetings.

• Leadership for Property Team – Steve Bauer will now represent the Property Team to Council instead of Erlinde Beliveau

• Summer Plans – Council approved plans for Grow in Faith Team to move forward with VBS this summer

• Constitution – Draft to be distributed to Council and then to congregation by May 1st, with plans to be voted on at the Semi-annual meeting. After that point in time, by-laws, as well as chart flows regarding church leader roles, need to be revised since last updated in 2005.

• Review of proposed changes to building use procedure – draft attached

o Council approved draft with the exception for exploration of cost revisions.

  1. Supply pastors – Judy will call to set this up beginning May 22nd through the summer. Pastor Koch is available.

  2. Mark Donahue received phone call from non-members visiting from out of state who attended Easter service with us. They were wearing masks, did not attend breakfast. One of these visitors had tested positive for Covid. Plan to share this info in Tidings on Thursday to inform congregation. No other action needed.
